Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize our clients' supply chains, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the S&OP Process: Drive the Sales and Operations Planning process, aligning demand and supply plans, and optimizing service levels and efficiency.
- Execute Planning for New Growth Initiatives: Develop and implement plans to support new growth initiatives, including resource planning, inventory management, and project management.
- Market Insights Integration: Collect and integrate market insights into the demand plan, collaborating closely with Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Supply Chain Planning Improvement: Enhance the company's Supply Chain Planning and Control processes, including resource planning, inventory management, cost variance analysis, and project management.
- Support Transformation Projects: Support supply chain transformation projects, motivating the team and ensuring successful execution of strategic plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate S&OP team activities, ensuring flow of products and optimizing productivity and stock levels.
- Demand Forecasting: Review and analyze forecast demand versus actual demand, collaborating with Sales and Marketing to incorporate promotions, new product introductions, and phase-outs.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve each step of the S&OP process, implementing best practices and tools.
- Operational Purchasing: Take responsibility for operational purchasing and traded goods planning process.
- KPI Monitoring: Monitor and drive initiatives to improve supply-related KPIs such as Schedule Adherence, OTIF, Days Cover, and Supplier OTIF.
- Team Development: Support and coach procurement and production planners, facilitating their development within the team.
Requirements:
- Industrial Engineer with an MBA from a top Business School: Required.
- Lean Six Sigma & APICS certifications: Desired.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing industries with exposure to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Business Planning: Required.
- End-to-End Supply Chain / IBP / S&OP processes knowledge and experience: Required.
- Strong leadership and project management skills: Required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written): Required.
- Proficient in analytical tools (Excel, PowerBI, Python) and ERP systems (Dynamics AX / SAP): Required.
