Senior Manager, Solution Engineering Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to join our Implementation team as a Senior Manager, Solution Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will lead a group of Solution Engineers in Madrid, working on innovative complex projects ranging from online payments integrations, in-person payments, marketplaces, card issuing programs, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of implementation managers to deliver a great customer experience and get customers live efficiently, with robust integrations that scale well.
  2. Technical Guidance: Act as a sparring partner and escalation layer for the team of implementation managers, helping to navigate complex projects and technical challenges.
  3. Culture and Collaboration: Create an inspiring and collaborative team environment with an open communication and feedback culture.
  4. Team Growth: Scale up the team while preserving the Adyen formula and ensuring our unique culture is fostered.
  5. Collaboration and Growth: Collaborate with other teams and drive initiatives to grow the (global) IM organization, in size, quality, and scalability.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience leading teams.
  2. Experience in building and managing a team of implementation managers, technical consultants, or technical project managers.
  3. Experience with integration projects within a large global company working in professional services, finance, retail, or general technology.
  4. A proven track record of helping to drive change, using data to make informed decisions on setting up tools and procedures.
  5. Understanding of the dynamics of working in a global organization.
