About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Medicine Specialist to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our employees and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct medical checks to identify occupational and workplace risks, and provide individual results reports.
  • Review, sign, and certify medical check results, and provide explanations to stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage Medical Service assets, instruments, and inventory, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide first aid assistance and support to employees.
  • Collaborate with the local EHS team to review and analyze Risk Assessments, and suggest improvement measures.
  • Assess cases of special sensitivity to particular risks and suggest measures to be taken.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities and external service providers to investigate work-related incidents.
  • Provide OHS consultations and support to all stakeholders.
  • Develop and analyze medical service annual reports and epidemiologic reports, and provide improvement plans.
  • Advise local and central teams on Medical Service findings and needs.
  • Prepare and implement Medical Services plans, and review Health Activities Planning.
  • Produce statistical data to report trends in key risk areas.
  • Coordinate team schedules, holidays, and cover for absence.
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish law and regulations.
  • Track implementation of training programs and ergonomics programs.
  • Lead and track implementation of required processes to ensure paperwork compliance.
Requirements
  • University degree in Medicine with specialization in Occupational Medicine.
  • At least two years of experience as an internal or external Occupational doctor.
  • Strong communication, leadership, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus skills.
  • Ability to support multiple Fulfillment Centers and travel periodically at the regional level.
  • Fluent in Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Accredited knowledge in Occupational Health and Safety, industrial, and logistics environments.
  • Knowledge of local OHS-related procedures, administration complaints, and legal issues.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team.
