We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Doctor to join our team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment Center. As an Occupational Doctor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Medical Checks and Reporting: Perform medical checks related to occupational and workplace risks, issuing individual results reports and reviewing, signing, and certifying medical check results properly.
- Health and Safety Management: Review Medical Service assets, instruments, and inventory, detecting and reporting any issues and improvement opportunities in terms of standards of service and associate engagement.
- First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide first aid assistance when needed and be part of the local EHS team, reviewing and analyzing Risk Assessments and suggesting improvement measures accordingly.
- Consultation and Support: Provide OHS consultations and support to all stakeholders, including local and central teams, and advise on the Medical Service findings and needs.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop medical service annual reports and epidemiologic reports, analyzing results and providing improvement plans and proactive programs to improve overall health conditions for all Amazonians.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance to Spanish law in Amazon Spain Fulfillment SLU environment, track implementation of training programs, and lead and track implementation of required processes to ensure paperwork complies with Spanish law.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Build management and employee commitment for a safety program through influence, not authority, and interact with Workers councils when necessary.
- Education and Experience: University degree on Medicine specialized in Occupational Medicine (Medicina del Trabajo) and at least two years of experience as internal or external Occupational doctor.
- Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication skills, leadership, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus, with the ability to give support to different Fulfillment Centers and travel periodically at regional level.
- Language and Culture: Fluent in Spanish and ability to work in a diverse and inclusive workplace.
