About the Role

Mentor Technical Group (MTG) is a leading provider of technical support and solutions for the FDA-regulated industry. As a world leader in life science engineering and technical solutions, MTG has the knowledge and experience to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device safety and efficacy guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses to identify and mitigate process safety risks, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Development of Safety and Occupational Health Strategies: Collaborate with regulatory bodies to develop and implement effective safety and occupational health strategies, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
  • Safety Training and Awareness: Design and deliver regular safety talks and training programs to promote a culture of safety and awareness among employees.
  • Site EHS Support: Provide support to site EHS staff in identifying, reporting, trending, and tracking near misses, as well as tracking other key metrics such as CAPAs and incident investigations.
  • Personal Protective Equipment Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of personal protective equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies: Ensure adherence to all environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, including ISO 45001 and ISO standards.
  • Contractor EHS Qualification Program: Lead the development and implementation of the Contractor EHS Qualification Program to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Internal Audits and Risk Assessments: Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Health and Safety Teams: Participate in health and safety teams to identify and mitigate hazards, and develop effective solutions to address identified risks.
  • EHS Management of Change Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of EHS management of change to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • General EHS Inspections: Conduct regular general EHS inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years of related experience in Medical Devices & Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical, and/or Consumer industry.
