Job Description
In our Product Team – Business Intelligence for Sustainability, EHS Distribution, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting complex software and application components in the Business Intelligence environment of BASF Group. You will develop and consult on BI applications tailored to the needs of our business units. Your technical expertise will help us find solutions to complex requirements and bring them to life in our systems.

Responsibilities
• Consult on technical questions related to business applications for reporting, create concepts and specifications based on technical requirements for projects and change requests in collaboration with other consultants and business units.
• Develop software on your own or as part of a team.
• Focus on operational aspects with our external provider, clarifying complex issues that the provider cannot resolve.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business informatics or business administration with a focus on IT or computer science with a focus on business administration.
• Alternatively, completed vocational training with several years of IT experience in various functions.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT-related topics.
• Experience and passion for building software in the SAP Business Warehouse (BW) environment with in-depth knowledge of ABAP and SQL and the processes in BW.
• Experience in IT operations aspects of a SAP Business Warehouse.
• Ability to communicate clearly and authentically in English (spoken and written).
• Willingness to work in an international team.

Nice to Have
• Experience in programming in ABAP OO, HANA native.
• Experience working agile with a DevOps mindset.
