Senior Treasury Manager

Sulzer, a leading engineering company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Treasury Manager to join its global team. As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of internal and external financing transactions, as well as supporting the group's credit management and working capital management processes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the capital markets sourcing strategy for the group, ensuring optimal procurement and repayment of external financing.
  • Negotiate and issue new bonds and other debt capital market instruments, leveraging your expertise to secure favorable terms.
  • Manage the group's syndicated revolving credit facility (RCF) and other large loan facilities, including negotiation, renewals, extensions, changes, and reporting.
  • Oversee intercompany financing, including loans, dividends, and capital injections, from application to execution.
  • Perform capital structure reviews for subsidiaries and suggest required actions to optimize financial performance.
  • Calculate the group's M&A capacity, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage in active dialogue with rating analysts, tracking key parameters relevant to their assessments.
  • Collaborate with Group Accounting to calculate the WACC for the group.
  • Maintain and improve the global framework for customer credit risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support customer credit risk management processes, including assessing and managing global service contracts with external credit rating agencies.
  • Identify and initiate improvements to the net working capital management of the group, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  • Lead a direct report as the Global Process Owner Credit Management & Working Capital Specialist.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Banking and Finance or equivalent.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in a similar role, ideally with an international industrial corporation.
  • Experience with corporate treasury solutions (e.g., Bloomberg) and SW systems.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Well-organized, structured, and reliable person with the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with senior management, finance peers, and banks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
