Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned Quality Assurance Lead to drive the strategy, methodology, and execution of quality assurance initiatives across our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a company-wide QA strategy, identifying and mitigating quality and performance risks, and overseeing daily operations of the QA teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a company-wide QA strategy and plans aligned with business objectives
- Identify, assess, and mitigate factors and risks affecting product quality and performance
- Work with other departments to strengthen and improve team-related processes and engineering practices
- Define and track key performance indicators and metrics of the QA department
- Effectively oversee and coordinate daily operations of the QA teams
- Be an ambassador of QA-related practices, including daily bug-hunting, implementation of innovative frameworks, and issues with CI/CD and testing pipelines
- Evaluate and improve current technological landscape, methodologies, and QA practices
- Introduce, develop, improve, and maintain practices of automated, security, load, and other types of testing
- Implement, use, and maintain relevant metrics to keep up-to-date benchmarks over product health and team performance
- Lead and manage documenting practices within the reporting teams
- Operate QA teams in a supportive, developing, collaborative, and highly-performance manner
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention of team activities
- Perform other assignments of the company's senior management
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, quality control, or testing
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in a QA environment
- Familiarity with SDLC, recent and best practices of software development and QA processes
- Change management techniques
- Agile methodologies
- Project management tools such as Atlassian Jira, Aha, or similar
- Confluence or other document management tools
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Teamwork and adaptability
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Time management and resource planning
