Join Our Team as a Storage Engineer

SIX Group Services Ltd. is a leading provider of financial market infrastructure, and we're looking for a talented Storage Engineer to join our team. As a Storage Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our storage infrastructure, ensuring the high availability and performance of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement storage solutions using NetApp and Hitachi storage systems
  • Develop and improve our storage platforms to meet the high demands of our customers
  • Implement solutions based on these vendors in our data centers
  • Constantly evaluate and optimize security configurations in our storage environments
  • Support colleagues in the block, file, and object storage area
  • Analyze and rectify faults in the area of responsibility, including on-call service
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of NetApp AFF and FAS systems (ONTAP 9.x) and Hitachi VSP
  • Basic knowledge of SAN (Brocade) and Object Storage (S3 on Hitachi Content Platform) is a plus
  • Education or further education in computer science
  • High level of initiative and enjoyment of constantly building up and passing on knowledge
  • Independent, solution- and implementation-oriented way of working with high quality standards and a holistic approach
  • Good command of English (written and oral), German and/or Spanish is a plus
