Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Partner Solutions Architect to become an integral part of our dynamic technical community and expanding operations in Spain, specifically within the Iberia Public Sector team.

You will collaborate with a supportive group, collectively working to introduce cutting-edge cloud computing innovations to organizations that cater to our Public Sector clientele. Your focus will be on assisting System Integrators, Consulting Partners, and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) throughout the Iberia region.

This role offers the flexibility of being based in Madrid, Spain, or working remotely.


As a Partner Solutions Architect at AWS, you will design enterprise-level Amazon Web Services solutions, manage the technical relationship and deliverables with large organizations, facilitate multi-day workshops, lead brainstorming sessions, create white papers and blog posts, and address complex technical inquiries.

In this capacity, you will have the chance to influence and execute a strategy aimed at enhancing awareness and widespread adoption of the AWS platform among the partner ecosystem.


Internally, you will serve as an advocate for our customers, driving ongoing enhancements to the AWS platform by communicating their needs and expectations to inform the development of AWS features and services.

You will also play a crucial role in shaping the future of the Solutions Architecture organization by participating in the recruitment, coaching, and mentoring of new talent.


In this position, your innovative thinking will connect technology with practical solutions, providing opportunities to define or create cloud-native reference architectures alongside the global AWS Solutions Architect community.

You will engage in the development and dissemination of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures (such as white papers, code samples, and blog posts) while promoting and educating others about AWS technology through various channels, including workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in specific technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • Background in IT development or consulting within the software or Internet sectors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Familiarity with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Expertise in migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience with AWS technologies from a development/operations perspective.
  • Background in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructures.
