Accounts Receivable Specialist

A prominent multinational organization is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee credit and collections operations.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with clients to manage payment statuses and address any inquiries, including disputes and complaints.
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of both new and existing clients.
- Assess and approve credit limits, with authority up to 250K EUR.
- Maintain and update master data in M3.
- Implement measures to block or unblock customer orders/accounts in accordance with Credit & Collection policies.
- Review the setup of any collateralization instruments provided to clients.
- Generate and analyze accounts receivable reports and alerts.
- Ensure compliance with the company's customer payment term policy.
- Advise on monthly provisions for doubtful debts to the accounting team.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to manage client portfolios effectively.
- Coordinate legal recovery actions with the company's legal department as necessary.
- Assist the Treasury department with factoring operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an insurance-related role.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong skills in Excel, Outlook, Office, and SAP.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance products and market dynamics.
- Solid grasp of finance and accounting principles.
- Fluency in the local language of the operational base.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.
