Job Title: General Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized General Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial management and accounting support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process account payable invoices and manage documents using SAP or other relevant systems.
  • Purchasing order management.
  • Prepare reports for the Head of Finance and Accounting.
  • Carry out general tasks of the accounting department and internal control of general expenditure.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Accounting team.
  • Cash and credit card transactions reconciliations.
  • Assist in financial and tax audits.
Requirements:
  • Certificate of Higher or Medium Education in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting and/or financial administration roles.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and tax system.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Advanced level in Excel).
Additional Requirements:
  • Experience with a specific accounting program (preferably SAP) will be valued.
  • High level of Spanish, oral and written (for Spanish documents processing).
  • At least medium level of English, oral and written.
