Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Project Manager to lead the 2X Technical Assistance Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and leading the project team, ensuring effective delivery of project activities, and managing project resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure daily management of the project with full accountability for project results and deliverables.
  • Lead project workplans and budgets development, track and manage performance against targets, actively manage variances within approved limits, and identify areas for improvement or adaptation.
  • Lead and manage the performance of the team of consultants and implementing partners.
  • Track project and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule and/or budget, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of project outputs and reporting to client (large Multilateral Organisation and Financial Institutions).
  • Manage and/or support the relationship and communication with the donor, the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in International Development, Business Administration, Public Policy or related field.
  • Project and professional management experience, staff management experience, overseas and/or international experience relevant to the region, desirable experience with donors, bi- and multi-lateral government agencies, relevant government agencies, non-governmental organizations and other development agencies.
  • Experience with investors and financial institutions.
  • At least five years in project management, design and implementation of development, economic, and/or gender programs, preferably managing projects funded by large Multilateral Organisations and/or with financial sector institutions.
  • A good communicator with report writing skills and effective stakeholder management. Able to work virtually, and transculturally.
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) proficient in Written English.
