We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Procurement Specialist to support our schools' teams in the Iberia region. The successful candidate will have a flexible location, with regular visits to our Madrid Regional Office.

About the Role

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting schools on procurement processes, ensuring compliance with regional procurement policy. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing our eSourcing tool to set up new events with suppliers.
  2. Managing our eSourcing tool for current contracts management.
  3. Finding new suppliers to enrich tenders and ensure best value for money.
  4. Coordinating suppliers visits with schools when required.
  5. Creating comparatives and ensuring quotes are homogeneous in quantity and quality.
  6. Negotiating final agreements with suppliers.
  7. Supporting the Head of Procurement on yearly regional central procurement initiatives.
  8. Updating monthly reports with schools' local initiatives and central savings.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. 2 years of minimum experience in similar positions.
  2. Knowledge of procurement processes.
  3. Negotiation skills.
  4. Negotiation training is a plus.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills to positively communicate at all levels and areas.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  7. Ability to use software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe, needed.
  8. High attention to detail.
  9. Self-managing skills to prioritize and timely deliver goals set.
  10. Proactivity. Problem solution focus.
