Job Title: Postdoctoral Researcher in Electrolyzer Design and Engineering

CIC energiGUNE is seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of electrolyzer design and engineering. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to the development of innovative electrolyzer cell concepts and geometries, optimize electrochemical processes, and characterize solid electrolyte-electrode interfaces.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop new electrolyzer cell concepts and geometries
  • Optimize electrochemical processes such as metal electroplating and output gas collection
  • Characterize solid electrolyte-electrode interfaces using advanced techniques
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to achieve project goals

Requirements:
  • PhD in Electrochemistry, Engineering, or similar field
  • Knowledge of electrochemical cell design and fundamental electrochemistry
  • Desirable knowledge of electronics and experience in metal dissolution and electroplating
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
