We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kids Club Attendant to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Mallorca. As a Kids Club Attendant, you will be responsible for the overall entertainment and care of children enrolled in our Kids for All Seasons (KFAS) program.
Your primary duties will include leading arts and crafts activities, instructing games, and supervising children at play in the Activity Center and outdoor areas. You will also be responsible for maintaining the upkeep and organization of the Activity Center, as well as keeping accurate records and forms.
As a Kids Club Attendant, you will work closely with the Kids Club Coordinator to manage and supervise activities for all children in the KFAS program, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute safe, fun-filled, and educational daily scheduled programs for guests aged 4-12.
- Prepare the KFAS facility on a daily basis to accommodate a minimum of 5 children.
- React to changes in scheduling, weather, or number of children with a prepared backup plan.
- Arrange for food from In Villa Dining as required by guests and assist with service.
- Converse with guests and answer questions regarding the resort.
- Provide orientation of the KFAS facility and Recreation Building.
- Promote and upsell excursions to guests, customizing where necessary to meet guest needs.
- Execute tasks of a Water Sports, Kid's Club, or Health Club Attendant as needed.
- Adhere to all corporate core standards in execution of programming.
- Work closely with supervisor to ensure proper standards of hygiene and functioning of equipment.
- Assist in handling guest requests, complaints, and any special problems, keeping the Kids Club Coordinator and Recreation Management well-informed of action and follow-up.
- Provide personalized service for all VIPs and SA guests on a daily basis.
- Participate fully in all departmental training as outlined by your manager and as per the Departmental Annual Training Plan to master all tasks and skills related to the Standard Operating Procedures for your position.
- Fill in any gaps in your skills and knowledge.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Perform any other tasks or projects as assigned by the hotel management and staff.
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Outgoing personality and ease with customers.
- Prior experience working with children.
- Ability to swim.
- Trained and certified in First-Aid, CPR, Heimlich Maneuver, and rescue techniques.
