Job Title: Senior Data Engineer, Global Procurement Technology

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Global Procurement Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable and efficient database systems and pipelines to support process optimization in Procurement operations management, analytics, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of data integration projects, acting as a proxy for senior engineering leaders.
  • Be an expert in data warehousing architecture, utilizing various technologies and tools.
  • Have strong analytical skills and excel in modeling, creating, managing, and enterprise use of large data sets.
  • Define best design and development practices to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, supporting rapidly growing and dynamic demand for data.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for data solutions, striving for efficiency by aligning data product initiatives with business goals.
  • Organize workshops and demos to share knowledge across teams and ensure consistent design and development practices.
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to evaluate requirements and dependencies, recommending optimal solutions to problems.
Requirements:
  • Experience in data engineering.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language.
  • Experience mentoring team members on best practices.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR.
