The Team:
As a Market Intelligence Specialist within our Market Intelligence team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing the go-to-market strategy for the Celonis Platform and Solutions. You will join a dynamic team dedicated to defining market strategies for a leading software company. Your responsibilities will include supporting go-to-market teams in positioning Celonis against competitors, defining product positioning, and collaborating with product teams to influence the development roadmap.
Your Role: In this position, you will serve as a vital connection between Product, Marketing, Sales, Value Engineering, Partner Management, Business Development, and Executives.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of related technological sectors such as AI, process orchestration, enterprise architecture, and data analytics.
- Analyze competitors and guide customer-facing teams on strategies to outperform them.
- Work closely with go-to-market teams on specific deals against competitors, including engaging with prospects to highlight Celonis's advantages.
- Utilize market research and analysis to collaborate with the Celonis product organization, influencing product strategy and development.
- Create competitive positioning materials targeting specific competitors and software categories.
- Act as the company's authority on market intelligence, empowering the global Celonis organization with insights on market landscape and positioning.
- Build and nurture relationships with industry analysts, domain experts, and partners.
- Conduct trend analyses and debriefs on competitive engagements, providing insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to establish a go-to-market strategy and ensure effective execution across the organization.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data science, enterprise architecture, solution engineering, IT industry analysis, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in management/strategy consulting, product marketing, market intelligence, or a similar fast-paced environment.
- A technical BA/BS degree is required; an MBA is a plus.
- Proficiency in multiple languages is advantageous.
- Knowledge and experience in strategy and market research are essential.
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills in English are required.
- A curious mindset with a desire to learn about market dynamics, customer narratives, and competitive advantages, even in uncertain and evolving situations.
- Agile and team-oriented, with the ability to provide and receive feedback, adapt strategies, and collaborate effectively to achieve objectives.
- Capability to see the broader picture while also focusing on detailed execution.
- Previous experience with Celonis is an advantage.
