Job Description

Celonis is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Market Intelligence Specialist to join our Market Intelligence team. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in defining and driving the go-to-market positioning and strategy for the Celonis Platform and Solutions.

The Role: In this position, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a thorough understanding of adjacent technological categories, such as AI, process orchestration, and enterprise architecture. You will also be responsible for coaching customer-facing teams on how to outmaneuver competitors and collaborating with go-to-market teams to define strategic positioning of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a thorough understanding of adjacent technological categories
  • Coach customer-facing teams on how to outmaneuver competitors
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to define strategic positioning of the product
  • Leverage market research and analysis to influence product strategy and roadmap
  • Develop competitive positioning material against specific competitors and other categories of software
  • Be the company expert on market intelligence, enabling the global Celonis organisation on market landscape and positioning
  • Establish and cultivate relationships with industry analysts, domain experts, and partners
  • Conduct trend analysis and deal debriefs on competitive deals, reporting back to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, enterprise architecture, solution engineering, IT-industry analyst, or a similar field
  • 2+ years of experience in management/strategy consulting, product marketing, market intelligence, or a comparable fast-paced environment
  • Technical BA/BS degree is required; MBA is a plus
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
  • Strategy and market research knowledge and exposure is required
  • Strong public speaking, presentation, and communication skills in English
  • Intellectual curiosity with an innate desire to learn and master market dynamics, customer stories, and competitive advantage even in ambiguous, ever-changing situations
  • Agile and team-oriented, ability to give and receive feedback, change tact, and collaborate with a team to achieve a goal
  • Ability to see the big picture and contribute to strategy development while also working in the details
