Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the IQVIA Translations Services team to deliver translations on time and meet quality commitments to clients
  • Research industry-specific terminology to ensure accurate and culturally sensitive translations
  • Cross-reference specialized glossaries and translation tools to ensure translation quality
  • Proofread translated texts for terminology, grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
  • Work with the IQVIA Translations Services team to identify gaps in instructions or external issues that may affect client commitments
  • Provide thorough and relevant feedback on the quality of translation work performed by other linguists or strategic partners
  • Be the point of contact for IQVIA Translations Services to manage quality and on-time delivery related to feedback
Requirements:
  • Native speaker in target language: French
  • Excellent spoken and written skills in the target language: French
  • Fluency in source language(s) spoken and written: English
  • At least 3 years of experience translating, reviewing, and editing life sciences content, including clinical trial documents
  • A tertiary or university degree in translation or linguistics and at least 3 years of translation experience, or no university degree and at least 5 years of translation experience
  • Ability to work according to tight deadlines and independently
  • Experience with translation management systems and CAT tools
  • Desirable experience with memoQ and prior experience as a translator with a translation and localization company
