About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Inetum. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our big data platforms and data products.

Your Mission

Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain data pipelines that ingest, transform, and prepare data from various sources into our datahub platform and data products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct in-depth technical analysis to identify data needs and requirements.
  • Development: Design and develop robust data pipelines using DataStage.
  • Testing: Ensure data pipelines are thoroughly tested to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Packaging & Delivery: Package and deliver data solutions efficiently to meet business needs.
  • Solve Production Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve production problems in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with IT OPS: Collaborate with IT Operations to ensure smooth data operations.
  • Contribute to Agile Meetings: Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's success.
  • Feedback Loop: Provide constructive feedback to the development team.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts: Work closely with Business Analysts to align on requirements and solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical Tools:
    • DataStage (11.7 / Designer / Monitor)
    • Linux Red Hat / Shell Unix / MobaXterm / Putty
    • Oracle / SQL Developer
    • Flows CFT / GPG
    • JIRA, Confluence, Teams
    • GIT
  • Skills & Experience:
    • Business Skills:
      • Strong relationship management between business and IT.
      • Knowledge of banking industry and processes (nice to have).
      • Agile methodology experience.
    • Behavioral Skills:
      • Attention to detail and rigorous.
      • Ability to understand, explain, and support change.
      • Results-driven and able to deliver high-quality outcomes.
      • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Language:
      • English: B2 or higher.
      • French: B1 or higher (nice to have).
