PTC Group is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Madrid. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data pipelines, APIs, and data processes within our data platform technical stack.
Responsibilities:- Develop and refine technical solutions to address business requirements, ensuring alignment with client data standards and frameworks.
- Implement data pipelines, processes, and APIs, leveraging your expertise in data architecture and modeling.
- Collaborate with QA engineers during the SIT testing phase and ensure smooth production deployment.
- Support the team in resolving production environment issues related to data pipelines and REST APIs.
- Lead the documentation effort for implemented technical solutions, focusing on user story and data catalog levels.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data projects within accounting, financial performance management, and financial planning & analysis.
- Sound understanding of data architecture and modeling, with expertise in Python programming for data (functional approach).
- Relational database and SQL experience, as well as exposure to REST and SOAP APIs for data pipelines and ETL.
- Proficiency in Git and CI/CD, with a strong command of English (writing, reading, speaking).
- Experience working in agile teams and ability to articulate conversations with business stakeholders beyond technical discussions.
