Supervisory Engineer, ANAV Mechanical

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisory Engineer to lead the ANAV Mechanical Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the team's technical activities, ensuring compliance with company procedures and standards, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to the ANAV Mechanical Group, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and services.
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
- Customer Interface: Serve as the primary point of contact for the ANAV customer, Westinghouse Business Unit leaders, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate and manage project work packages, ensuring timely completion and adherence to company procedures and standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, recommending alterations to development and design to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Proven engineering leadership experience, including team coordination and customer interface.
- In-depth knowledge of ANAV NPP and Westinghouse local procedures.
- Ability to get things done within Westinghouse through operational and organizational know-how.
- Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, and teamwork abilities.
- Extensive engineering knowledge in one or more engineering specialties and capability to lead engineering efforts on a project at the discipline level.
- Work highly independent, capability of mentoring engineers and leading a team of engineers in the execution of complex tasks.
- About 10+ years of related experience within or outside Westinghouse.
- An Engineering License or equivalent is required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish. Catalan will be valued.
This position is based at the Vila-Seca office in Spain with some required travel to customer sites within Spain.
