The Field Service Engineer, Spain & Portugal plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of Mobile Water Solutions rental equipment for customers. This position involves providing technical support, installation, commissioning, and maintenance services for mobile water treatment equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Installation and Commissioning:** Set up and install equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- **Maintenance and Repair:** Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment remains in good working condition during the rental period. Troubleshoot and repair equipment if it breaks down or experiences technical issues.
- **Customer Support:** Provide technical guidance and support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance. Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide guidance, and address any issues or concerns.
- **Documentation and Reporting:** Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including service reports, parts replacements, and work performed. Provide feedback to rental companies on equipment performance and condition.
- **Safety Compliance and Training:** Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards. In some cases, offer training to customers or rental staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
- **Inventory Management:** Monitor rental equipment inventory, order spare parts when needed, and coordinate with suppliers.
**Requirements:**
- Proven work experience as a Field Service Engineer or a similar role in the water industry.
- Mechanical and electrical knowledge and skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe work environment.
