We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Onboard Safety Critical Development Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating safety-critical systems for our airborne platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop firmware and software requirements specifications for onboard safety-critical computing platforms.
- Perform hardware/firmware/software integration testing for onboard safety-critical computers developed within the AR domain.
- Develop firmware DO-254 DAL A/B and software DO-178B/C DAL A/B for onboard computers developed under the responsibility of the Air Refuelling domain, and participate in their verification.
- Contribute to the hardware and software certification process of such firmware in front of certification authorities to demonstrate compliance with RTCA DO-254 DAL A/B and RTCA DO-178B/C DAL A/B objectives.
- Education to a degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation and demonstrating adaptability.
- Knowledge of Python and Matlab scripting.
- Experience with real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with partitioning architectures and ARINC653 standard.
- Understanding of control systems theory.
- Knowledge of model-based design.
- Experience with continuous integration and DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with GIT and Bitbucket.
- Understanding of AGILE frameworks.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence theory and techniques.
- Experience with machine learning.
- Knowledge of data analytics and computer vision.
- Familiarity with DO-178B/C and DO-254.
