We are seeking a highly skilled Robotic Safety Engineer to join our Industrial Safety team in Toulouse, France. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe design and implementation of robotic systems in our manufacturing processes.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Support and defend the team and projects assigned, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement safety standards and processes to support the integration of H&S into our manufacturing engineering projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the safe design and implementation of robotic systems.
- Contribute to the development of efficient design and co-design for industrial systems that meet human needs, capacities, and limitations.
- Ensure the capitalization of experience, knowledge, methods, and tools, and disseminate standards, policy, and best practices across Airbus functions and divisions.
- Support compliance with regulations and Airbus safety policies and standards.
- Define safety specifications for machines and systems.
- Support suppliers and internal teams to manage robotic safety aspects throughout projects.
- Contribute to assessing safety concepts and safety architectures.
- Participate in on-site tests and qualifications and validations.
- Monitor the market for new safety technologies.
- Contribute to the development of internal tools.
- Master's degree in Engineering.
- Between 5 to 10 years of experience in machine safety design, with a focus on electrical safety design.
- Experience in risk analysis of machines and CE marking.
- Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits, PLC programming, Lock-Out and Tag-Out process.
- Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations.
- Experience in China and USA machine deployment and analysis on applicable regulation would be a plus.
- English at negotiation level.
- 2006/42/EC: Machinery Directive.
- ISO 10218: Robots and robotic devices – Safety requirements for industrial robots.
- ISO :Safety of machinery – Safety-related parts of control systems.
- ISO/TS 15066: Robots and robotic devices – Collaborative robots.
