Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Energy Storage Project Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our energy storage development team, you will be responsible for developing utility-scale battery storage projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Development: Develop utility-scale battery storage projects, including site analysis, due diligence, and project acquisition.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with grid operators, local authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project development.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and market reforms affecting battery storage in Spain.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal and external partners to ensure project success.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in engineering, environmental science, or urbanism.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing renewables projects in Spain or 2 years of experience in developing BESS projects.
- Strong knowledge of local development processes, regulations, and call for tenders mechanisms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent level in Spanish and English.
