About the Role

Ashoka in Europe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications and Marketing Specialist to support the daily communications activities taking place at a European level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital communication and experience working with social media, streaming platforms, and digital tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, Google Analytics, and WordPress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute social media campaigns to promote Ashoka's events and reports
  • Produce newsletters and mailing campaigns to engage with stakeholders and promote Ashoka's work
  • Develop regular marketing reports to track the success of communications activities
  • Collaborate with other communication managers at Ashoka, media partners, designers, and video editors to create engaging content
  • Support in other communications-related tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a program at an accredited university or able to sign an agreement between Ashoka, the student (or alumni), and the University
  • A native English speaker and writer
  • Loves digital communication and has some experience working with it
  • Experience using digital tools such as Hootsuite, Canva, Google Analytics, and WordPress
  • A great communicator with design or writing skills, or both
  • Able to multi-task and innovate efficiently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
