Job Description

We are seeking a Java Developer to join our Development Team in Palma, responsible for the development of a new application in the tourism industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Java 17+ application development, supporting business objectives while providing expertise in software development lifecycle phases from concept and design to testing.
  • Analyze, design, and build component-based applications in an online XML delivery environment, including modeling techniques, component, and object-oriented design, complex algorithmic coding, and systematic approaches to application and system integration.
  • Perform hands-on coding and assist in architecture.
  • Collaborate closely with other development teams in other countries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Java (including Java 17+) developing experience (at least 1 year).
  • Excellent working experience in object-oriented development.
  • Experience in Microservices architecture/development: Linux containers, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of English in speaking and writing.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proven ability to work with others as part of an established development team.
  • Experience with common testing frameworks.
  • Proven ability to work with deadlines.

Additional Skills

  • Work experience and references in the tourism industry.
  • Additional certifications in core technologies.
  • Experience with Enterprise Middleware.
