Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Systems and Network Engineer to join our Global IT Team at SGS Brightsight. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure and network systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement vendor-independent LAN administration solutions, including VLANs, routes, and firewall rules.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of encryption protocols for storage and symmetric and asymmetric encryption for communications.
- Utilize language-independent scripting skills to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Provide first-level Service Desk support and assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains secure and efficient.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network engineering.
- Strong understanding of LAN administration, encryption protocols, and scripting languages.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
