Key Responsibilities
In your role at Airbus, you will be responsible for the development and integration of Raman Optical sensor technology across various systems within the ZEROe project (including Fuel Cell systems).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advancing the design and functionality of key components of the Raman Technology for diverse applications.
- Preparing and conducting tests to assess the performance of these components under various conditions.
- Supporting the design and integration process of the Raman Technology from initial architecture through to manufacturing and testing phases.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
- A Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the design of RAMAN systems.
- Proficiency in Raman System Architecture, encompassing both hardware and software.
- Experience in designing mechanical interfaces for optical sensors and defining optical systems.
- Background in Fiber Optic applications, particularly for environmental monitoring, including fiber architecture design and optical performance assessment.
- Experience with systems operating in cryogenic environments.
- Knowledge of thermal and fluid mechanics.
- Familiarity with structural design and system integration (both electrical and mechanical).
- Programming and scripting skills are advantageous.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Strong networking, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- A high level of initiative, integrity, and trustworthiness.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
