About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at GMV. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of predictive solutions and the continued improvement of operations and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, construction, and maintenance of data infrastructure and databases.
  • Development and optimization of ETL processes to integrate, transform, and load data.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, perform statistical analysis, and generate information and visualizations.
  • Discover machine learning models to predict trends and behaviors.
  • Creation and maintenance of dashboards and implementations of Business Intelligence to facilitate access and understanding of data for stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Implementation and deployment of predictive models in production (Python FastAPI,.NET Core, C++, etc.).
  • Python data-stack (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, etc.).
  • ETL transfers and database platforms.
  • Statistical analysis.
  • Understanding of machine learning principles and ability to implement predictive models.
  • Technical fundamentals of optimization techniques (non-convex optimization with gradient descent, heuristics, Mixed-Integer Linear Programming, discrete optimization, etc.).
