About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Treasury Leader to join our team at Flix. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in shaping our company's financial strategy and driving our growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Treasury Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive treasury strategy that aligns with the company's overall financial goals, including commodity, FX, and interest hedging, as well as policies, regulations, and risk mitigation.
  2. Optimize Cash and Liquidity Forecasting: Further optimize our short-term and long-term cash and liquidity forecasting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial planning.
  3. Minimize Costs and Automate Treasury Operations: Drive initiatives to minimize costs, such as cash pool extension to Europe, bank fee and margin negotiations, optimized IC cash flows, and others. Automate and modernize our existing treasury operations to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  4. Lead Treasury Team and Develop Talent: Provide functional and disciplinary leadership to the treasury team, and develop the skills and expertise of team members to ensure they are equipped to meet the company's financial needs.
  5. Communicate with Financial Service Providers: Maintain strong communication with banks and other financial service providers to ensure seamless financial transactions and minimize risk.
  6. Monitor Debt Covenant Compliance: Monitor debt covenant compliance and ensure timely reporting obligations are met.
  7. Develop Treasury Reporting Dashboards: Develop and maintain treasury reporting dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to inform financial decision-making.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Treasury Leader with a strong background in finance, accounting, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have:

  1. 7+ years of experience in treasury, controlling, or finance, or a similar leadership position.
  2. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business.
  3. Strong knowledge of cash management, financial analysis, treasury risk management, and project management, including experience with treasury tools and bank connectivity.
  4. Experience with financial risk management instruments, such as FX hedging instruments.
  5. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower team members to achieve organizational goals.
  6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to negotiate in financial and commercial topics.
  7. Fluency in English, with German a plus.
