About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Bcd Meetings & Events. As a Travel Consultant, you will be the face of our company, communicating and responding to requests for dedicated clients, helping them travel smart and achieve more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Search and confirm travel reservations for clients.
- Have a strong understanding of client travel policy and provide consultation to clients.
- Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.).
- Provide clients with industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties.
- Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients to provide suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported.
About You:
You have corporate travel agent experience and relevant skills in GDS Sabre. You possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with German and French being a plus. You have a solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes.
