International Tax Manager

About the Role
The primary objective of this newly created position is to support the global tax unit with various tasks, including providing tax advice to subsidiaries and business units, supporting tax audits and litigation, handling digital service tax topics, assisting the mergers and acquisitions team with tax due diligence, and reviewing tax clauses in company agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize tax incentives for the company.
- Control the company's effective tax rate.
- Support company subsidiaries in tax litigation procedures.
- Review tax clauses in company agreements.
- Manage tax contingencies, coordinating with the accounting department.
- Conduct continuous analysis to identify tax efficiencies.
- Provide tax advisory and support to various business units.
- Review digital service tax regulations in each country and prepare digital service tax declarations for all company subsidiaries.
- Handle tax audits related to digital service tax as needed.
- Support the mergers and acquisitions department with tax analysis of potential acquisitions, including due diligence and structuring.
- Assist the legal department with tax contract reviews.
About the Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled tax professional with a strong understanding of global tax regulations and principles. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 5 years of experience in international tax roles.
- A degree in finance, taxation, accounting, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear tax advice.
- Meticulous attention to detail in reviewing tax clauses and managing tax-related documents.
- The ability to work effectively with various departments, including legal, accounting, and business units.
- A proactive approach to identifying tax efficiencies and managing tax contingencies.
