We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join our team at Group IPS. As a BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the implementation of BIM processes and technologies within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement BIM strategies aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and align BIM activities accordingly.
- Oversee and track BIM processes, harmonizing scopes and systematically reporting progress and risks to project management.
- Design and implement procurement processes, including RFIs, RFQs, Q&A, bid comparisons, and contract awarding.
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software tools and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and advancements in BIM and related technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with BIM software tools and technologies, specifically in Revit, Navisworks Manage, and BIM360.
- 8-10 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in similar positions and activities.
- Fluency in English and French/Dutch.
- Familiarity with industry standards and protocols, such as IFC and COBie.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Project management and leadership skills to plan, organize, and execute BIM initiatives.
- Certification in BIM, such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or BuildingSMART Professional Certification, is often preferred.
