Job Title: Animal Health Supervisor

Quezon Poultry And Livestock Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Animal Health Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for protecting and enhancing flock health through a well-coordinated and executed farm biosecurity program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and periodically evaluate individual farm biosecurity programs.
  • Coordinate the implementation of farm programs and monitor results and expectations.
  • Perform epidemiological monitoring of disease incidence in the field for better control and prevention programs.
  • Supervise and perform direct veterinary procedures such as diagnosis, confirmation of causes of mortalities and morbidities, water medication, parenteral injection, vaccination, delousing, collection of laboratory samples, and interpretation of laboratory examinations.
  • Ensure mortality, morbidity, coordination, and poor health problems are attended to immediately and resolved efficiently with minimal cost.
  • Conduct periodic roving inspections of flocks, farm buildings, equipment, facilities, utilities, and waste disposal systems, recording observations and recommending corrective measures.
  • Attend and participate in periodic meetings of the farm's service team, educational seminars, and conferences.
  • Confers with farm owners/farm in-charge and all stakeholders to solicit their utmost cooperation and assistance in the implementation of flock health activities.
Requirements:
  • Holder of a Degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Licensed Veterinarian.
  • With at least two years of work-related experience.
  • Willing to visit farm areas around CALABARZON.
  • With driving skills and valid Professional Driver's License (4 wheels).
  • Can work under pressure and with minimal supervision.
