Position Overview

The Financial Systems Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business operations and the technical aspects of Oracle EPM – FCCS and TRCS systems. This position is focused on delivering techno-functional support for daily business processes while also identifying, designing, and implementing enhancements to existing solutions. The analyst will engage regularly with business leaders, stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure that changes in services, products, and technology align with organizational goals and add value, while also evaluating the feasibility of these changes within financial, technological, and functional parameters.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct analysis of existing requirements, processes, data, and market trends to define project scope. Communicate identified opportunities to the IT Manager overseeing Financial Performance Management Systems. Document business and functional requirements based on market insights and current processes. Create scoping documents to align business needs and contribute to business case development and resource planning. Drive the planning and definition of early business and functional designs, facilitating high-level solution discussions and assessments regarding resource requirements, timelines, and budget considerations. Design and implement solutions by translating new requirements and enhancements into functional specifications. Collaborate with solution management and development teams to convert business needs into actionable technical requirements. Establish quality assurance measures to assess the impact of solutions on business operations. Assist project managers during the development and testing phases as needed, ensuring compliance with internal controls and organizational standards. Oversee the integration of new solutions into the existing IT framework and coordinate the development of functional specification documents, including user acceptance testing (UAT). Act as the primary IT liaison for tasks executed by external consultants, such as design changes and report setups. Participate in Change Advisory Board meetings to advocate for system enhancements. Support the establishment and maintenance of a sustainable model for the systems in collaboration with the Operations Manager for IT Finance and application support partners. Provide necessary support for delivery (L2 / L3) and assist with audits from internal and external regulatory bodies.

Skills & Qualifications

Proven professional experience in a similar role, particularly in Accounting and Financial Reporting functions. Familiarity with financial performance management applications, especially Oracle EPM, including Oracle Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud (FCCS), Tax Reporting Cloud (TRCS), and Enterprise Data Management Cloud (EDMCS). Experience working in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a commitment to execution in a rapidly evolving global landscape. Strong communication skills to engage and influence finance leaders and super users, with the ability to quickly establish new relationships. Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize during peak business periods. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently; self-motivated and driven while effectively influencing in a matrixed environment. Experience in navigating diverse and virtual teams.
