We empower property owners and managers to efficiently manage and market their rental businesses online. Our international team of over 350 people from 60+ nationalities is based in the heart of Barcelona.

Role Overview

We're seeking an AI Engineering Manager to lead and grow our AI group, composed of two squads. You'll optimize team productivity, foster personal development, and drive AI strategy and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
  • Lead technical projects and initiatives critical to the company's success.
  • Manage budgets for AI squads and control running costs while ensuring operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth end-to-end product development and deployment processes.
  • Cultivate a data-driven decision-making environment and establish quality indicators to uphold product quality.
  • Support the team in executing the company's AI-driven product roadmap.
  • Optimize system performance using prompt engineering and chaining techniques.
  • Enhance LLMOps infrastructure to establish a robust feedback loop with precise metrics.
  • Suggest improvements to our RAG in production to continually improve its metrics.
  • Maximize team performance by leading and developing a strong AI team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building, leading, and scaling development teams.
  • At least one year of experience leading a team with Data Scientist/ML engineers.
  • Previous experience with Generative AI and RAG.
  • Agile mindset in software development and experience managing agile teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Extensive development experience, including experience with Python.
  • Positive, committed attitude with a 'can-do' approach.
  • Experience implementing reliable and efficient processes to accelerate development and improve quality.
  • Experience with LLMOps, including deploying and scaling ML models in production environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of working in a multicultural environment.

  • Previous experience leading a AI team using Generative AI.
  • Previous experience working for a successful tech startup.
