About the Role:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing business relationships with carriers, resolving operational issues, and supporting commercial and contractual negotiations. This role will also involve promoting continuous improvement initiatives with performance teams, carriers, and operations to improve safety, cost efficiency, reliability, and high-standard service.
Key Responsibilities:- Handle business relationships with carriers, resolving operational issues and supporting commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives with performance teams, carriers, and operations to improve safety, cost efficiency, reliability, and high-standard service.
- Cross-functional work with Supply Chain, Warehouses, and Retail organizations to determine future demand for Transportation resources.
- Translate demand into accurate capacity plans and define market strategy and budget planning with senior Finance partners.
- Build strategy and carrier allocation for each Line Haul supply program available in the region, secure sufficient capacity for Prime week and Peak season, and drive success on costs, reliability, services, and safety.
- Maintain accurate reporting on key metrics for the market and prepare regular business reviews with leadership and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in supply chain
- Advanced proficiency in written and verbal Spanish and English
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
