Supply Chain Transportation Manager

In this role, you will oversee the execution of transportation operations (both inbound and outbound) for the site and facilitate the transformation of Alstom's transportation organization in alignment with the Global Supply Chain strategy. You will engage closely with various teams across the organization (demand planning, supply chain), optimize site operations and shipments while ensuring compliance with processes and regulations, among other responsibilities.
Your specific duties will include managing relationships and operational contracts with key strategic providers and driving transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute transportation and logistics flows, including customs activities, to meet site supply chain requirements.
- Lead the governance framework established between the site and transportation service providers in accordance with the transportation strategy.
- Maintain and enhance the Transportation performance scorecard focusing on service quality and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Global Transportation team and its various pillars (Overseas-TCTs, Regional-TCTs, and Project Out-of-Gauge) to implement the transportation strategy.
- Facilitate effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support strategic programs, projects, and network studies to achieve operational objectives for the Transportation organization.
- Ensure consistency in processes, systems, and data.
- Manage team dynamics.
- Actively contribute to the development and execution of the Indirect Sourcing strategy.
- Participate in Supplier Performance and Business reviews as per the Suppliers governance model.
- Serve as the primary contact for transport RFPs to gather data and formulate specifications.
- Act as the Site Customs representative.
About You:

- Technical degree in transportation or international commerce.
- 3-5 years of experience in customs management.
- 3 years of experience in transportation management.
- Proficiency in English.
