Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Bioinformatics and Cancer Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) in Barcelona, Spain. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and interdisciplinary research group focused on understanding the role of metabolic enzymes in cancer biology.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of mass spectrometry data to determine the enrichment of metabolic enzymes in the chromatin compartment.
- Validate the results using immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence techniques.
- Design and develop a pipeline for image analysis and integration of different markers together with subcellular localization of selected metabolic enzymes.
- Contribute to the development of novel guidelines for patient stratification based on the subcellular localization of enzymes.
- PhD in biological sciences, molecular biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Proven experience in bioinformatics, image analysis, omics analysis, and MS analysis.
- First author publication in a reputable scientific journal.
- Eligibility for international or national fellowship programs.
- Knowledge of cancer biology, particularly breast cancer.
