The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team and contribute to a project focused on understanding the relationship between metabolic enzymes and cancer stage, grade, and response to therapy. The selected candidate will analyze mass spectrometry data to determine the enrichment of metabolic enzymes in the chromatin compartment. This data will be validated with immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, and the candidate will develop a pipeline for image analysis and integration of different markers together with subcellular localization of selected metabolic enzymes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze mass spectrometry data to determine the enrichment of metabolic enzymes in the chromatin compartment
  • Validate data with immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence
  • Develop a pipeline for image analysis and integration of different markers together with subcellular localization of selected metabolic enzymes
  • Contribute to the development of novel guidelines for patient stratification based on the subcellular localization of enzymes
