About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bioinformatics Software Developer to join our team at Sebibc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of the OpenEBench visual interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and maintain software for the integration and biological data, following the guidelines of ELIXIR.
  • Maintain communication with ELIXIR platforms, communities, and management, and participate in regular meetings and discussions.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure the alignment of our activities with ELIXIR and the translational impact of our actions towards the Spanish National Health System (SNS).
About ELIXIR

ELIXIR is a pan-European organization founded in 2014, which aims to integrate and harmonize European bioinformatics infrastructures. As a member of ELIXIR, we are committed to promoting specific training activities and workshops on ELIXIR resources, partnering with industry, and shaping the bioinformatics landscape.

About OpenEBench

OpenEBench is a permanent platform to support community-led scientific benchmarking activities and the technical monitoring of research software in Life Sciences. Our goal is to provide an observatory of the quality of the Life Sciences research software, which can provide an overall view of the field and support the generation of development best practices and their progressive adoption.
