Job Summary

Accor Hotels is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bell and Door Attendant to join our team at Fairmont Pittsburgh. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all arriving and departing guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Warm Welcome: Greet arriving guests with a smile and a warm welcome, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
  • Curbside Check-in: Assist guests with curbside check-in, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Lobby Ambassador: Act as the first and last point of contact for guests, providing assistance and guidance throughout their stay.
  • Luggage Services: Assist guests with luggage and secured luggage storage, ensuring their belongings are safe and secure.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain relationships with limousine and cab services, ensuring a smooth and convenient experience for guests.
  • Guest Assistance: Escort guests to their destinations within the hotel, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Front Office Support: Assist the front office team with check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Review daily reports and group resumes, ensuring execution of all special requirements and adhering to established standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a luxury property is an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and execute guest requests through strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication ability.
  • Physical Aspects of Position: Constant standing and walking throughout shifts. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
