Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer with a specialization in Mechanical/Materials for our Inspection Department, reporting to the Procurement Area for EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review of Project Specifications: Ensure that project specifications for manufacturing and quality control are accurate and complete.
- Quality Control Requirements: Identify and include quality control requirements in purchase orders (POs).
- Internal Review: Review quality control requirements included in POs before issuance to vendors.
- Vendor Manufacturing Documents: Review and comment on vendor manufacturing documents for assigned POs, including inspection and test plans, manufacturing purchase specifications, test procedures, and final quality dossiers.
- Inspection Planning: Plan, coordinate, and schedule workshop inspection visits with inspection representatives from vendors, Tecnicas Reunidas, and clients.
- Pre-Inspection Meetings: Lead pre-inspection meetings for applicable POs and request inspectors to cover related inspection activities.
- Notice of Inspections: Handle notice of inspections with vendors, Tecnicas Reunidas, and clients.
- Inspection Reports: Review, control, and distribute inspection reports.
- NCRs: Manage non-conformance reports with vendors and clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with technical departments and project inspection teams.
- Client Communication: Ensure fluent communication with client inspection representatives and vendors to achieve a smooth manufacturing process.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
