Job Title: Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team at Rider Levett Bucknall. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet client needs and objectives.
  • Manage the procurement process, including tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Conduct spend and market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier engagement.
  • Evaluate potential suppliers based on client criteria and manage the supplier selection process.
  • Support the formal onboarding of suppliers through Master Purchase Agreements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define RFP scope, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
  • Evaluate supplier proposals and support contract negotiations up to and including agreement and contract execution.
  • Establish and track supplier performance evaluation processes and KPIs.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and continuous improvement with suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, or a construction-related field.
  • Construction industry experience required.
  • Proven track record in Procurement and preferred experience in a leadership role.
  • Preferential experience across Data Centre or IT projects or other high-value, complex schemes.
  • Strong negotiation, management, and team alignment skills.
  • Proficient in process execution/development using software tools.
  • Excellent reasoning and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of data centre procurement, contract agreements, and product/service knowledge.
