To get there, we are looking for Amazon's next generation of General Managers and Regional Directors to join the Pathways Leadership Development Program in Amazon Operations.This position is for an 8‑12 week internship during the Summer of 2026 (Jun‑Sep 2026), onsite at one of our Fulfillment Centers/Delivery Stations located all around Japan. Minimum 12 weeks internship is required for all international hires who require JP visa support.An Amazon MBA summer internship consists of leading a strategic project that is data intensive, analytical, centered on a real business issue, and representative of the full‑time role. Interns will have ownership of a high‑profile project within a business organization team, partnering with key business groups and clients. By participating in the internship, you will have opportunities to analyze unique business ideas, make data‑driven decisions, and provide input to drive meaningful change. Each intern will have exposure to upper‑level management (including Vice Presidents and Directors) and the opportunity to apply general business skills to support successful execution of corporate strategies.About the Pathways Program: Pathways is a three‑year program with graduation following promotion to the Senior Operations Manager (SOM) role. Through a series of intense, progressively challenging opportunities in the core of our elite operations network, we will stretch your leadership capacity to its full potential. The business lessons you learn and credibility you develop will benefit you over the rest of your career and help prepare you for future executive leadership opportunities.Pathways Ops Managers are expected to be mobile and scale with the growth of the business, lead and develop large teams, solve problems with creative solutions, and deliver results on behalf of our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesCoach, manage, and develop large teams.Partner with senior leadership to think broadly about solutions to the most complex business and operational challenges.Engage and lead continuous improvement projects throughout the course of the program.InterviewsOnline assessments will be sent in September and interviews will start in October.Locations & PlacementThe position will be located in a fulfillment center or delivery station around Japan.Must be willing to relocate at the time of hire.
