Vista Investments, LLC · Madrid, Comunidad de Madrid, EspañaVISTA Investments is seeking a senior Head of Accounting to lead and elevate our accounting operations from Madrid. This role has a high strategic impact, overseeing a multi-entity structure across Spain and the US, and partnering directly with senior leadership.You will lead the accounting team in Madrid and work closely with our US finance team in managing consolidation, treasury, tax compliance, internal controls and the financial performance of our SPVs and development projects. Work model: On-site Monday–Thursday (Madrid office) + Home-based on Fridays.This is a hands-on, operational accounting role within a growing hospitality investment and development company. You will oversee our Madrid-based accounting structure (Accounting Manager + AP team + finance support), working closely with our US finance team. Key ResponsibilitiesLead general accounting, monthly/annual closes, audits, and tax compliance.Manage treasury, liquidity planning, and cash-flow forecasting.Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting to senior leadership.Supervise and support the Accounting Manager, improving accuracy and internal controls.Coordinate with the small US finance and accounting team on consolidation, reporting, and SPV oversight.Oversee the financial performance of multiple SPVs and development projects.Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial monitoring.Maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders. What We’re Looking For8–12 years of experience across accounting, audit, reporting, and financial control.Strong experience with month-end/year-end close, consolidation, tax, and compliance.Background in Big Four audit + industry is highly valued.Experience supervising accounting/finance teams.Knowledge of SPVs, multi-entity structures, and consolidated reporting.Proficiency with ERPs (SAP, Navision, Netsuite, etc.).Full professional proficiency in English (essential).Detail-oriented, proactive, structured, and hands-on. Please note: Profiles focused solely on FP&A, banking, investment, or project finance will not be considered. This role is heavily accounting oriented.
