They specialize in road transport, with plans to expand into air and sea freight in the future. Their goal is to grow and scale their operations across Spain, with a vision to add new branches and diversify their services.**Position Overview**:The General Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the Madrid office and warehouse, overseeing the team, and driving business growth. This is a dynamic role that offers a clear career progression as the company expands its footprint across Spain and into other transport modes (air and sea). This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader looking to develop their career in the logistics sector.**Key Responsibilities**:- Oversee and manage all operational activities of the Madrid office and warehouse.- Lead and supervise the local team, ensuring efficient processes and high standards of service delivery.- Drive the business development strategy to expand operations across Spain, including opening new branches.- Identify opportunities to diversify transport services by adding air and sea freight to the company’s portfolio.- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies in all operational aspects.- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders.- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track growth and operational efficiency.- Collaborate with international teams and implement best practices from other markets.**Qualifications & Experience**:- 5-8 years of experience in the road transport/logistics industry.- Proven experience managing a small team in an operational environment.- Previous experience working outside Spain is highly preferred.- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.- Ability to grow a business and scale operations.- Fluent in English and Spanish.- Highly motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, with a desire to grow the business.- Experience in or strong understanding of both road transport and other modes (air, sea).- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.- Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.- Career growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding company. xsgfvud - A chance to lead the company's expansion efforts and make a significant impact.J-18808-Ljbffr#J-18808-Ljbffr
